Payment: A 30% deposit is required to process your order. The balance of payment must be paid in full, two days before delivery. We will send you a text/email, with a secure link to click on, to make the balance of payment required.
Deliveries: Delivery and assembly is free for orders with a sales value of over €800. We will offer a three-hour timeframe on a day our transport is in your area. Should you require delivery on a fixed date or an exact timed delivery we can organise a special delivery run to you but you would have to pay the costs associated with this. A re-delivery charge will be imposed if no one is home to accept the agreed delivery or if the agreed delivery is cancelled at short notice. Please note the maximum time we can hold furniture waiting to be delivered beyond the due date is four weeks as space and warehousing is costly.
Please ensure access is clear and that wooden floor and carpets are covered to protect against damage.
Lead Time: As many of our sales are unique, we order your exact requirements from the factory. The lead-time quoted is a best estimate and is made to you based on the information supplied to us by the manufacturers.
Dimensions: The customer is responsible to note the size and dimensions of the furniture to make sure it will fit not only in the designated room, but also through doorways, around corners and up and downstairs, lifts etc. Most furniture cannot be disassembled. We are conscious that should this situation occur we could cause damage to your home or to the furniture by trying to force the item through a space not suitable. In such an instance the delivery people are instructed to bring the furniture to a suitable alternative area or room designated by you.
Cancellations: Once an order has been placed with us we place an order with the manufacturer. A cancellation or a change in design or colour from you is only possible with the agreement of the manufacturer. If we are unable to get their agreement and you still wish to cancel, your deposit will be forfeited.
Damage: Please inspect all items delivered to you. If an item is damaged, please report this directly to The 1933 Furniture Company within 72 hours of delivery.
Statutory Rights: These Conditions of Sale do not affect the statutory rights of the consumer.
